RAIN RAIN GO AWAY...

GOOD MORNING BLOG BUDDIES....The snow is gone, but the rain is upon us.  Good day to  bake up a batch of scones, not so good a day to go out every 30 minutes with IVY.  Potty training is not going too well and this weather isn't helping!  I'm happy to announce that I'll be putting the pattern & thread kits using WEEKS DYE WORKS #8 PEARL COTTON for LAVENDER.  Ive had a tremendous response on Facebook Punch Needle 101 to this photo:

LAMB IN LAVENDER

Good Morning Blog Buddies...I've been consumed with TRYING to house train Ivy...it's NOT going well and I blame myself because I hate put her back in her crate after she's been outside!  She does everything outside and then when she plays and races around with Rizzo inside she just goes where ever it suits her!!!  It's TOUGH LOVE today on my part, she seems happy in the crate and it's right next to me where I work!  This might be too much information???  On the frame is Lamb in Lavender.  Weeks Dye Works has a #8 pearl cotton that I'm falling in love with.  About 40 colors in the pallet and each one is beautiful and an inspiration!  It comes in 10 yard hanks and once I figure out how much it takes I will be offering Lamb in Lavender as a pattern only and as a pattern & thread kit.  Stay tuned.  Plus I'll be offering another Finished Spring Sample Sale tomorrow at noon.  I will preview it here in the morning.  Keep on punchin.

GOLDILOCKS

Good morning Blogg Buddies...off to an early start this Monday.  Ivy slept til 4:30 this a.m and I'm grateful we weren't up a 2:00 a.m  Here's a sneak peak of GOLDILOCKS.  She will appear in 2020 Punchneedle & Primitive Stitcher Magazine  The editor will decide which issue.  I will be sending Alice & the White Rabbit, Red Riding Hood too.  Starting to sketch Hansel & Gretel!  One of my storybook series designs will appear in each of the four issues!  I hear Ivy howling, it's time for a potty brake.  Keep on puchin.

It's the first time I've sold samples like this however, I have over 350 designs and most have samples. In fact some have 2 samples because Ive punched them in different colors.  The original price for my finished pillows was $45.00 The sale price is $30.00 including shipping.  I've finished Goldilocks for Punchneedle & Primitive Stitcher magazine for 2020 and starting on Hansel & Gretel in-between potty training IVY!  It's a process and we are one step forward and two back...I've never had a puppy that didn't get trained.  She will!  She is fast as lighting and while I try to keep my eye on her, she managed a little piddle here and there.  I'm catching on because she runs to me and sits down because she thinks she'll get a treat like she does outside!  Keep on pnchin.

HATTIE 2006-2013

I lost Hattie yesterday...it broke my heart to have to make THAT  CALL to the vet.  Her struggles had become too much for her.  I could manage getting her up when she needed help, but there was bleeding going on inside of her that could not be fixed.  It was a fitful weekend.  She will never be replaced in my heart, but I'm so glad I have Rizzo & Ivy.  Especially grateful Rizzo has Ivy.   They play tag and tug with an old white leather outside and cuddle together on the couch.  Keep on punchin
