DOWN ON THE FARM

In coordination with Cedarburg's Wine & Harvest Fest, the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts is celebrating Down on the Farm.  You can drive over, we have lots of parking or hop on the hayride.  You'll be greeted by this fabulous pumpkin head, watch the smithy work, and take a peak at out Blacksmith Shop.  Stop in at the Farmhouse Gallery, I'll be there.  Keep on punchin.

MEET THE WOOLIES

I'm back, but moving slowly.  Will need therapy on my knee.  My next outing will be this weekend; I'll be in my studio Saturday and Sunday for Down On The Farm.  Lot's of activities plus a smithy will be christening our restored Blacksmith shop.  Downtown Cedarburg will be celebrating it's annual Wine & Harvest Festival.  It should be a busy time.  Now for the WOOLIES.  Valdani thread company is now carrying this fabulous 100% virgin wool from Australia.   They are offering Ivory and Black.  i was asked to design some wool applique whimsies with these colors.  The models are finished.  I'm working on the patterns now.  These designs will debut in Huston at the Quilt Expo in October.  Keep on punchin.

JOLLY OLD SOUL

This guy is ready to go and patterns are available upon request.  Im moving very slowly because last Sunday I tripped, fell, and blew out my knee.  had to cancel my appearances at the Quilt Expo, and Sheep and Wool show.  Plus I had a bad reaction to the pain meds so I've pretty much been on the couch with tea, toast, and 200 episodes of NYPD BLUE.  Keep on punchin.
