STAR BOY...he is part of the SANTA LUCIA GANG.  I liked him so much, I drew him up solo and called him MUG WART but I was told he's a STAR BOY...You will see him again as a companion to MONEY OR EATS later in the year.  Revising DOWN HILL BUNNY and hopefully on yo JACK & JILL.  Have a very HAPPY & HEALTHY NEW YEAR.  Keep on punchin.

CHRISTMAS TABLE & WINTER SIMPLY VINTAGE

Good Morning.  It was -8 degrees today.  Brrrr.  A perfect day to be home drawing and punching.  Jesse & Dasha are safely home in Chicago.  The dishes are washed and put away.  It goes so fast doesn't it.  Only the extra inches at the waist hang around!  So cozy up today with a cup of coffee or tea and maybe just one of those left over cookies and take a look at all the wonderful projects in the Winter Issue of SIMPLY VINTAGE.  Keep on punchin.

THISTLE TREE

This year there are little trees all over the Coop.  This one is my Thistle Tree.  Every year I looked froward to purchasing one of Phoebe's Thistle Ornaments at Cedarburg's Christmas in The Country.  Phoebe passed away a couple of years ago and there is no more Christmas in the Country.   I cherish each one of these handmade characters.  Cookies to bake and one more Christmas design to finish.  Keep on punchin.

TREE TRIMMING

TREE TRIMMING...it's that time of year.  As we march closer to Christmas Day, I'll be finishing up a few projects before I launch into cookie making.  There will be some gingerbread men to go along with the punch needle ones!  Planning to have the January Lunch & Punch in my home.  The date is still up for grabs!  I'll be doing one last Holiday Project of Primsicle People inspired by the Swedish Lucia celebration on December 12th.  I'll be early for next year.  What can I say...you have to go where the Muse takes you.  Keep on punchin.

You can find my finished pieces on Amazon HomemadeThe-Cooperage.  I'll be posting more items this week.  Rizzo is going onto AKC Good Citizen Certification...Lot's of work and he's still just a puppy and wants to jump and play with everyone he meets!!!  Long journey, but it will be worth it because I'll be able to take him everywhere with me.  LUNCH & PUNCH this Saturday 10-2.  Plus at 4.p.m. there will be the opening of ICONIC WISCONSIN at the Cedarburg  Art Museum.  I'm proud to say my GOT CUSTARD is part of the show which will run until the middle of January 2018.  Keep on punchin.

  Doing some serious coop cleaning and found my poems...please indulge me here on my blog!  I miss writing poems and plan to begin again soon!  In the meantime, the trim on the Cooperage has been painted a cocoa brown and the door has a fresh coat of ginger paint. The patio and path to the log cabin have been rejuvenated with flag stones and more bricks.  That will wrap it up until spring when I plan to plant a new side garden and have the split rail fence replaced.  (Don't ya just love home owning ?)  Working on my nursery rhyme collection.  Will post Ms Muffet soon.  and drum roll please....I've been invited to sell my finished pieces on Amazon Handmade!  It's a fairly new site and I'm learning how to post with their templates and pixel requirements.  Stay tuned and I'll let you know how you can find me in the world known as Amazon...Keep on punchin.

Here we go...another Nursery Rhyme Primsicle!  Time is marching on and it seems I add more and more to my do list everyday!  I understand Amazon has a new Amazon Handmade and am looking into it to sell my finished pieces!  Not sure if i have time to manage another site selling patterns on ETSY keeps me pretty busy, but I am intrigued by the idea.  hose of you who know me well know I'm a big supporter of Amazon so I'm going to check it out.  In the meantime MS MUFFET is on the frame and I'm working with Rizzo everyday.  Keep on Punchin.

MOTHER GOOSE

MOTHER GOOSE on the frame...going to be working on a collection of nursery rhymes starting with Mother Goose!  This week in between puppy classes and play days, a trip to the Vet for the last of the puppy shots!  There will be the making of carmel corn and pumpkin chocolate chip bread for the COVERED BRIDGE STUDIO ART TOUR this weekend.  Baking bread and making a chicken salad for Lunch & Punch this Saturday.  Wish me luck!.  Keep on punchin.

POCKET FULL OF MAGIC...patterns are being drawn up.   So many things to do at this time of year.  The weather is crisp and I want to pullout every recipe for apples, and pumpkins.  I'll be making carmel corn for next weekend STUDIO TOUR plus some pumpkin chocolate chip bread!  It's a great time to reconnect with people.  Lunch & Punch on the 14th right in the middle of the TOUR.  That always adds to the excitement of the weekend.  It's time to draw.  Keep on punching.

TURKEY TROT

TURKEY TROT...is done just in time for the Hunter Moon on Thursday Nite!  It's been busy as usual at the Cooperage.  Got a email yesterday from the Cedarburg Art Museum and I'm happy to announce my GOT CUSTARD has been accepted for the Iconic Wisconsin Exhibit!  I am so happy to be in this show...one of the perks is I'll be able to punch in the museum during one of the Christmas Friday Night events.  It's always so beautiful decorated for Christmas, the carolers stop in, I love it!  Today is a big day for Rizzo too.  Last day of puppy 1 class.  We'll see if e graduates to puppy 2?  We've been working hard...but he likes to jump on people NOT GOOD.  Wish us luck and Keep on punchin.

TOWELING OFF ON A RAINY DAY

it was a busy day yesterday with thunder storms off and on...dogs running in and out getting wet and drying off!  I managed to lace up a new design "CORN HARVEST" And work on finishing up some pansy pins and reindeer with cinnamon stick legs.  Will get those up for you all to see soon.  Keep on punchin.  Rizzo has a sick tummy today so we are laying low.  Keep on punchin.

AUGUST BONNET GIRL HAS GONE FISHIN

WOW...the summer is flying by.  We need to grab what's left of it.  I'm so grateful for the beautiful weather we've had since I'm out almost every hour with Rizzo & Hattie.  I've been in my backyard more in the last 3 weeks than I've been in the last 3 years.  Coffee early in the morning (very early)
sometimes lunch and/or dinner plus a glass of wine!  You get the idea...I am working on a new design called "Corn Harvest".  TIME TO TAKE RIZZO OUT.  Keep on punchin.

WISHING ON A STAR...is done and patterns are listed www.etsy.com/shop/thecooperscottage  I've been getting dribs and drabs of things done in-between potty training!   My goals are considerably smaller than they were a couple of weeks ago...today I'll be getting an order ready to post, sorting thread,  a little knitting, reading, resting and praying I can make it to 9 p.m.  Of course baking care of Hattie & Rizzo has become all time consuming.  Have an idea about a corn field in my mind for fall, not sure when it can make it to the drawing board.  Keep on punchin.

Time to make Pickles or at least punch up a seed packet of Cucumbers...
