LEGACY & LACE
What a beautiful exhibit at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Art. Legacy and Lace has wonderful old wedding dresses and pieces of hand made lace(truly a lost art). The beautiful bride on the right in the top photo is my mom, Kathryn Ariagno. I used to tease her that the Cala Lily stems were loner than she was tall. Of course when it was my turn to marry, I carried Cala Lillies too (sans stems). I don't know who the bride on the left is, but hanging next to the photo is her pink silk dress. More bits of lace can been seen through out the display. I am so lucky to have my studio in the Farm House Galley on the museum grounds.
This week is speed punchin...I'm getting ready for the first SUNDAYS AT SANDWICH antique & folk art show. Check out their web site for details www.sundaysatsandwichantiques.com There will be 200 dealers there as well as folk artists. Keep on punchin.
