BIG GIRL FRAME

Working on the Big Girl Frame today...the interior dimensions are 18 x18.  Love the cosy to protect hands.  This is basically a rug frame so NOT 500 to the inch (available at  Breezy Ridge Farms).  The cloth is monks cloth (searching for a wholesale supplier).  The punch needles are OXFORD FINE ( 3/16" and 3/8")  I've got them and will post in my ETSY Store this weekend.  The flag is done with the 3/16".  The sheep will be done with both sizes.  These needles are not adjustable like our mini punch needles so you'll need 2 for sheep, bunny tails, etc.  The yarn is 2 ply worsted...so all you knitters out there check your stash!  I'll be offering a select few of my designs (Plain Jane Sheep, Katie O'Hare, Daisy the Cow, and of course a variety of Dogs & Cats) on ETSY as soon as I get something finished, photographed, etc.  White Geraniums are on the Little Girl Frame.  Will have enough done to post in a couple of days.  Keep on punchin.

  1. Hi Nancee
That is a huge piece to punch - how much thread does something like that take?
It's going to be very sweet when finished.
    Blessings

    1. I'm weighing the yarn before and will weigh after to get and idea of how many ounces...the needles are big 3/16" & 3/8" and the thread is thick so it goes fast.

    1. Yes, it's just like my mini punch needle only the needles are bigger and the thread is bigger. If's fun for those simple designs...going to make throw pillows.
