SEASON'S GREETINGS

I've had to slow down with my dislocated wrist, it's a good thing I have several pieces done.  I'm able to punch, but it's slow going.  Sewing & stuffing isn't any easier.  I really want to enjoy October & Halloween, and November & Thanksgiving before the HOLIDAY ART FAIR the first weekend in DECEMBER.  I must admit it's on my mind.  Setting up will be a challenge this year, hopefully my wrist will be better.  Keep on punchin.

OCTOBER 2018

Here we are...it's OCTOBER and I know just how this Bonnet Girl feels...There is soooooo much to do and time is running out.  As much as I love this time of year, the colors, rustle of leaves, carmel apples, the cool brisk wind, I hate feeling rushed!  Here's what's going on

TRICK N TREATS and MONEY OR EATS

Getting in the spirit of things...and ready for the Covered Bridge Studio Art Tour.  The studio continues to be a work in progress.  Working on a couple of ideas for Holiday Doors.  Too many ideas to put on one door...2 doors in the works so far.  A few weeks away from Snowmen, but they are coming.  Keep on punchin.

PUNCHIN AT THE WISCOSIN MUSEUM OF QUILTS & FIBER ARTS

Fun morning on Saturday at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts with a couple of bus loads of Gals from Michigan... Thank you all and hope you all had a save trip home!  I was able to finish up COOKIE CUTTER SANTA and list the pattern on www.etsy.com/shop/thecooperscottage

COOKIE THIEF SANTA

Drum Roll Please...here's the 2018 COOKIE THIEF SANTA.  He should be finished up this week, and listed in www.etsy.com/shop/thecooperscottage.  It seems that the  link to my ETSY STORE is no longer appearing in the upper right hand corner of this blog???  Not sure why.  Cedarburg has been lucky to dodge a couple of tornados the last couple of days, but we've had tons of rain so there's a lot of flooding in the area.  It rained all night and it looks like more rain in our immediate future,  So far thank God the Cooperage is high and dry.  When the first siren went off Hattie howled right along with it for 20 minutes!  Rizzo wasn't sure what to do.  I'm sure it hurts their ears.  It hurts mine.  All is well.  Listing a few finished items on Amazon Handmade this morning.  Musing about a Holiday Door punch needle design.  Keep on punchin.
