ORANGE TULIP BASKET

The Orange Tulip Basket pillow is finished, the kits are made up, and ready to take to my studio today...The Pink Tulip Basket is punched and waiting for me to find  that perfect wool piece for the pillow.  I'm thinking Red Tulips for the next one...stay tuned.   Keep on punchin.

WOOLIE WORKS

The Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts will have a University Day in the fall (October 18, 2014)  dedicated to WOOL and FIBER ARTISTS.  Since I'll be teaching wool applique, I decided I'd better make up a few items.. My first project was a little penny Rug kit (Blue Bird) from Primitive Gatherings, then the (Crow and Star) Pincushion  also from Primitive Gatherings.  Venturing out on my own, I designed the WOOLIE PUMPKIN PIN CUSHION.  It will be the make and take project to my University Day Class.  With the Spring Folk Art Show in St. Charles this month, it's time to...Keep on punchin.

SO MANY BASKETS SO LITTLE TIME

I can't quite get the SPRING THING  going with minus 4 degrees.  This is my best attempt so far!  Next I'll be working on a little wool applique pin cushion for the Fall University Day at the WMQFA.  Off to the studio today.  We have a tour today at 1:00 p.m.,  so I'm be bundling up and heading off to the studio after lunch. Keep on punchin.

MARCH MADNESS

This little pocket is stuffed with sweet annie and dried roses.  The chocolate bunny looks good enough to eat.  He holds on to a pail of poses.  Hang him on a cupboard door as a portent of SPRING.  Keep on punchin.

BEST FRIENDS

A surprise for Bonnie.  We met in 2nd grade and have been besties ever since!  She lives south west of Chicago.  Last Wednesday, her birthday Judy Block another friend asked Bonnie to go up to Kenosha  shopping.  But instead of stopping at the outlet mall Judy just kept on driving.  We had a great day in Cedarburg hitting all the shops, lunch at Cream n Crepe, and a coffee and treats at the Roastery before they headed home.  Keep on punchin.

VALENTINES DAY

This Friday February 14th from 1-4  I'll be in my studio punchin  sweetheart bracelets.  Stop in for a cup of tea and a cookie.  Make a heart bracelet of your own or take one that's made up.  Keep on punchin.

AS THE SNOW BLOWS

As the snow blows outside, bunnies, blossoms, and kitty cats are getting finished inside.  There's a batch of oatmeal cookies in the oven, and a sketch of a sprinkling can pin on my drawing board!  So many ideas, so little time.  Keep on punchin.
