STUDIO SPRUCE UP!

Thanks to Betty's help my studio is ready for spring!  It's fresh and clean and read to go...I'll be there this week on Wednesday, and Thursday from 12 -4 p.m.  There are lots of bunny pins, patterns, & last minute gifts for your Easter Basket.   You might want to get a gift card for one of my classes!  Keep on punchin.

ELEGANT FARMERS AKA AMERICAN GOTHIC

Just for fun on my frame are these bunnies in the Grant Wood tradition of American Gothic...It's a study in using subtle shades of blue and grays to punch up this piece!  I hope to get it of to the frammer this week.  Keep on punchin.

CEDARBURG SPUR MIDWEST FIBER ARTS TRAIL

I've been busy getting ready for this event...and today let the cleaning begin.  It's time to reorganize my studio.  My friend Betty has offered to help me SPRING CLEAN.  I'm going to hang quilts on the walls, and put the Fall and Winter stuff in the back room and bring the Spring and Summer things to the front.  Keep on punchin.

IT'S A WRAP!

The Fiber Ninjas have been all around the town with swags of yarn, and woven pieces to preview the Kick Off next weekend of the Cedarburg Spur of the Midwest Fiber Arts Trail!  All the studios will be open Saturday & Sunday.  So if you're in the area stop by pick up a map ,and hit the Trail for a weekend full of Fun and Fiber!  Keep on punchin.

TULIP TIME

I can't punch fast enough to get all my designs punched, finished, photographed, and kitted up.  I'm still working on the Stilt House and have the ELEGANT FARMERS on my drawing board.  Next weekend is the kick off of the Cedarburg Spur of MIDWEST FIBER ARTS TRAIL.  If you're in town or in Grafon,  or near the Ye Ole School House you might have noticed explosions of YARN covering trees, and bridges.   The Merry Makers will be out again tonight doing their magic at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts.  My studio will be open tonight at 7pm, and I'll have coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and some treats.  So if your around, stop in.  Tomorrow is the 2nd Saturday and that means Lunch & Punch for 10-2.  Keep on punchin.

A NEW BUNNY IN THE GARDEN

I can't seem to stay on track this month.  I've got the Stilt House drawn up and am in the process of selecting threads...However this little guy called my name and here he is almost done!  Valdani's Pearl 12 number 0501 is my new favorite color!  Keep on punchin.

MINERVA STAR OF THE SEA

I've updated this little charmer.  She is still one of my favorite designs.  Minerva is now posted on ETSY.  I've got a couple of new designs on my drawing board and a couple of older ones that need some updating.  There is always lots to do in the COOP and it's all fun stuff!  Keep on punchin.
