I believe hooking is in the air Notforgotten farm talked about loopy and that describes me perfectly as I go from punchneedle to hooking! This little mat will be posted on etsy tomorrow. I have a little stump bunny to show you. I'll get it photoed and posted soon, it's a gift for a very dear friend for Easter. Keep on punching (or looping)

HORSING AROUND
Wow, what a morning. I was horsing around and found out how to add my etsy store on my blog by adding a widget. Sounds simple but I ended up with three widgets instead of just one. Moe is better except when it comes to widgets... It's time to get back to punching those bunnies. Keep on punching.

SURROUND SOUND
Not only is there a great view from the north window of my studio, but the SOUND oh the sound... It's the perfect place to sit, stitch, and listen to water rushing over the little damn. Now if I could just decide on the background color for DOUBLE DUTCH, perhaps I could finish it. Gentle Arts simply wool Shaker White is the front runner. Keep on stitchin.

FRAMED
When it's right it's right. While cleaning out a closet...yes a closet... I caught the spring cleaning bug last week, I found the perfect frame for DOULBE DUTCH. It required me to change the background from a rectangle to an oval but it was well worth the extra time it took. I'd like to say, I'm finished with bunnys for a while but it's not true. I'm working on a stump bunny for a grapevine basket. Stay tuned and check www.etsy/shop/thecooperscottage for my patterns, finished pieces, and other needfuls including vintage quilts. Keep on stitchin.

OUTSIDE IN
Summer has arrived very early in SE Wisconsin! Crocus outside and Tulips in. It's so had not to play hooky, and just have fun in the sun all day, but deadlines loom! So a short walk around the block, and back to selecting that perfect thread color for Double Dutch's background. I love to mix floss with simply wool, crewel wool, sanibel mohair, and sheeps silk... so many choices. I might need another little walk before deciding. Keep on punchin.

DONE AND DONE
Happy to say "Dutch Treat" box is finished and posted on my etsy store. Working on Double Dutch and will have a sneak peek for you soon. The studio needed some serious spring cleaning and I couldn't put it off any longer. So my days have been busy tearing apart, and putting back together. It's actually been fun. This weekend "The Cedarburg Winery" and "The Settlement" celebrateSt. Patricks Day with an open house. The Cooperage will be open both days. I'll be punchin, and serving my peanut butter cookies so if you're in the area, please stop in. I've added some yarns, vintage linens, and other collectables to the studio. Keep on punchin.

SOME OLD SOME NEW ALL LOVED
Lori from notforgotten farm posted some of her yellowware. It inspiried me to gather together a few pieces from my collection. That inspiried me to think about spring cleaning! So I decided to have a cup of tea and think more about cleaning while I'm punchin on DOUBLE DUTCH the newest in the Dutch Rabbit collection. I'll give you a sneek peek in the next blog. Keep on punchin.

GOT CHOCOLATE?
Yesterday, I went over to my studio to do a much needed "spring cleaning". And we all know what is said about good intentions! I started out okay and then I came acoss this Jersey Cow in the someday I'll finish this stack (you have one or two of those don't you?) Remembering I had the perfect piece of chocolate brown wool, I made myself a cup of tea, sat by the window, and started stitching. I can't wait to "spring clean" tomorow. There's no telling what I might find.
Keep on punchin.
