Mustard is the color of the day. I've been dying yarn with kool aid, but this was my first venture into using commercial dyes. I used Country Classics and was very happy with the results. Keep on punchin.
This is the treasure box I received from my swap partner, Wendy at Pineberry Lane. It is stuffed with goodies to stitch up. I can't wait to get started. Two more designs to finish for TNNA and then I'm taking a break and stitchin up Wendy's wonderful designs. Keep on punchin.
It's never to hot to shop for bargins at Maxwell days! Dasha finds Mrs. O'Leary's Cow. She's returning her to Chicago where she will live out her days on a roof top patio with a fabulous view of the city! I'm back in the studio for the rest of the afternoon stitchin up models for Baltimore. Keep on punchin.
It's blomming hot here! Keeping my flowers, my dogs, and myself hydrated is a full time job. I'm trying to stay cool; and stitchin like crazy for the TNNA market in Baltimore next month. There is always so much to do to get ready for a show! Keep on punchin.
It's a sun out, straw hats on day for the gardenwalk. Beautiful blooms are on display all over town. Punch these geraniums now and enjoy them all year long. Available on my web site http://www.cooperagedesigns.com/. Keep on punchin!
A little patch of land on a corner in downtown Cedarburg, hosts a farmers market every friday from June through October. How lucky I am to be able to walk there. Of course I end up driving because I always buy more than I carry! I designed these punchneedle patterns honoring what is available and what is to come! Keep on punching.
I'm playing hooky today and not going over to my studio... I've made some hummas and have some wholewheat dough rising to make pita bread. Yum! The grill is ready for tomorrow. Brats and stuffed turkey burgers are on the menu. It's a great weekend to relax and enjoy the freedom we have in this country! I think cake and ice cream are in order, after all, it's a birthday party!
The Wool Street Journal arrived today. That's right Wool Street! For those of you who don't know about the Journal, it's a wonderful magazine for rug hookers. I'm so proud to say, my punchneedle design "Let 'em Eat Crow" was featured in this July issue. Keep on Stitchin!
