In progress, THE NIGHT GARDENER. This little bunny is planting stars in his garden...I've always loved this drawing, but struggled with the colors. Nothing seemed right to me. I didn't want another pastel rabbit. So I decided to rely on my old friend Valdani P11-aged black! With that planned as the background, I worked my way forward. I have a wonderful piece of Velveteen from Blackberry Primitives for the pillow. Stay tuned to see the finished product. Tomorrow is the Winter Quilt Show at Washington County State Park. Katie from Holly & Ivy has invited me to come in her booth and punch. Looking forward to this show, as I've not been to it. Keep on punchin. nancee
It's Burrr...cold here today. I've spent the morning making red velvet cookies, and mocha muffins (vegan of course) and watching a movie called "The Big Chill". It's an oldie but goodie. Now it's time to start punching up all those bunnies. Keep on punchin.
Just a little tongue n cheek for Valentines Day...I'm working on a "Pink String of Hearts" & a Primitive String of Hearts" in fall colors and as I've said before it's on to bunnies.... Keep on punchin,
I'm inspired by what's around me so I'm always woking in the season instead of ahead, so you could say I'm late with my designs, i prefer to say I'm a year ahead! I've got 2 strings of hearts on my frame, and as soon as they are finished it's to bunnies, they are almost jumping off my drawing board.
Keep on punchin,
