Harley my 11 year old Old English Sheep Dog loves to venture upstairs even though it's a perilous journey for his arthritic legs. Then he hangs his head over the rope and pretends he's a pilgrim in the stocks. He's such a sweet boy. Hattie is demanding equal time, so I'll have to post a picture of her next. BLISS is the last in the series of snowmen for this year. They are not quite finished. I feel they need a border and I want to mount them on something??? Paddles...Baskets... Not sure what. It's on to my 2014 Santa. Keep on punchin. nancee
Parson Brown is almost finished. He is going to have some kind of a border yet to be determined. There are a two more snowmen in the works... A busy week with board meeting, book club, and new designs to work up. Keep on punchin. nancee
I did not plant any mallows this year. I had a plant or two last year and an explosion this year. They have even crowed out sweet annie. Now that's saying something. Working on wool appliqué designs from home today. Will be in the studio tomorrow. Keep on punchin. nancee
Here comes the Cat in the Moon. He's one more in my fall series of patterns. I'm painting up a black paddle for him. There are a couple of snowmen on my drawing board, Santa #5. Keep on punchin!
I'm getting into the fall swing, look for the "CAT IN THE MOON next. Kelsa the groomer is making a house visit today to get Harley ship shape. It breaks my heart that he can't travel. His legs just won't support his 100 plus pounds. He'll be 11 on September 13th. "Hattie" and I are planning special treat homemade Doggie Biscotti. This gives new meaning to the dog days of summer. I'll be back in the studio on Wednesday. We have a tour at 10:00a.m. so I'll be in all day. Keep on punchin.
