I love pansies and never tire of trying to reproduce them.  This circle will be for a box top.  I'm working on a new one using Sheep's Silk!.  However nothing compares to the real thing!. Keep on punchin.

I'm working on a collection of historic properties in Cedarburg.  So far I have the Pagoda, Stagecoach Inn, Cedarcreek Winery Doors, and the two above.  I decided to punch the places where I spend most of my time; my beloved Cooperage, built in 1860 and  the Farm House Gallery where I have my studio.  The stone Farm House looks similar to my Coop, so I decided to to do one of the windows with it's white shutters!  I planing on the Cedarburg Art Museum for my next project.  It's a beautiful Victorian in downtown Cedarburg  oozing with charm!  Keep on punchin.

SHEEP'S SILK from the THREAD GATHERER is a beautiful hand dyed thread that works for punchneedle embroidery.  I just received a shipment of yummy colors.  The skeins are 25 yards, so I'm doing a little experimenting to see how many it will take for a background.  I'm working small until I can figure it out.  Expecting more Valdani this week too, so I may combine it with the sheep's silk and see what I get.  So much fun to try new things!  Keep on punchin.

Olde Glory is on the frame.  Hopefully spring is really here and summer is around the corner.  So many flowers and herbs to plant, so many new designs to draw up.  The calendar is filling up so I'd better get started.  Keep on punchin.

Here's a peek at our booth at the 18th annual "IT'S A STITCH QUILT SHOW " in Jackson Wisconsin.  I was helping out in the WISCONSIN MUSEUM OF QUILTS AND FIBER ART booth.  There's Jim Kennedy  front and center.  It was a fun weekend, fabulous quilts, meeting new friends, seeing old friends. The food was memorable, everything from chicken salad sandwiches to desserts reminiscent of grandma's recipes.  Thank you all who stopped by our booth, hope to see you all soon at the museum, when you're there, be sure to come to my studio in the Farm House Gallery.  Keep on punchin.
