HE LOVES ME, HE LOVES ME NOT!

I'm punching up this tongue and cheek Valentine showing a handsome suitor in the middle of two maidens.  The border is made up of birds and fancy flowers.  I haven't decided what colors to use for the background and border.  Have a safe New Year's Eve and a Happy New Year.  Keep on Punchin.

BOXING DAY

I'll be not only boxing, but wrestling with the dirty pots and pans left to soak overnight!  Then I'll be making up a little ice cream base using coconut milk, and Michigan Cherrys to try out our Zoku Ice cream maker Bowls.  One half of the bowl is in the freezer, the other half is in the right front corner of the photo.  You put the bowls together, add the chilled base, stir and scrap down the sides.  Wa La
Ice Cream.!  Add your favorite toppings and eat it right out of the bowl!  I'm so glad Santa shops at William Sonoma!  I'll be in my studio tomorrow.  Keep on punchin.

HOLIDAY HOUSE

Outside the Cooperage Door is decked out with one of my homemade wreaths.  Inside it's a cookie factory!  With all the shows over, I've got a little time to bake.  These thumb cookies are made with almond flour.  The recipe is on the King Arthur Flour website.  Check out the old red wooden tray!  It's a little Christmas present to myself from Pineberry Lane.  Wendy not only designs charming cross stitch, but has flea market finds on her website and there is always something there I want!  New designs coming soon.  Keep on punchin.

CHRISTMAS PAST

While digging around in my closet, I came across this box filled with memories from Christmases  past.  Of course, I totally forgot what I was looking for, sat down with a cup of tea and went through the box picking up each item and remembering where and when it was added to my collection.  What fun to play hooky for an afternoon and take a stroll down memory lane.  It's time to get moving the show is only two days away and there's work to be done.  Keep on punchin.

A HORSE OF A DIFFERANT COLOR

Back from a weekend on Washington Island.  Love , love love, Door County.  Shopped my way back home after stopping to see the Wilson Sisters goats, cats, and dogs.  They have a wonderful place with two charming houses on their property.  I got in a lot of punching and was able to punch up 6 horse heads with the idea of making hobby horses.  I'm painting dowels red and going to add ribbons and bells .  Perhaps a little wool for a mane.   I'll be teaching up in Sheboygan on Wednesday, then I'll be in my studio Thursday afternoon, Friday, and Saturday.  Stop by and see my progress... Keep in punchin.

JOLLY OLD SOUL

This guy is ready to go and patterns are available upon request.  Im moving very slowly because last Sunday I tripped, fell, and blew out my knee.  had to cancel my appearances at the Quilt Expo, and Sheep and Wool show.  Plus I had a bad reaction to the pain meds so I've pretty much been on the couch with tea, toast, and 200 episodes of NYPD BLUE.  Keep on punchin.

PILGRIM IN THE STOCKS

Harley my 11 year old Old English Sheep Dog loves to venture upstairs even though it's a perilous journey for his arthritic legs.  Then he hangs his head over the rope and pretends he's a pilgrim in the stocks.  He's such a sweet boy.  Hattie is demanding equal time, so I'll have to post a picture of her next.  Keep on punchin.
