This will be a very limited edition 2 total. I punched the fish in Valdani Aged black, then the scales with Krenik's 002 gold thread with 1 strand of a pale yellow DMC through a #6 Bernadine needle. This was a trick Bernadine suggested. It helps the stiffer metallic thread glide threw the needle and keeps it in place. One background will be Valdani Pale Petals and the other one Valdani Sea Foam. I might sew them on to some hand dyed velvet??? Stay tuned. Keep on punchin.

WOW - these are beautiful. They look very difficult - every time I've used metallic thread its hasn't resulted in a pretty sight!
