MOVING IN DAY

OMG...where did all this stuff come from?  Moved into my studio today.  I've rented space in the little farm house on the grounds of  the Wisconsin Quilt and Fiber Art Museum.  It was a beautiful  fall day.  I've got my work cut out for me as you can see.  Hope to have everything ship shape by Friday October 12th.  It's the first night of the covered bridge studio tour.  If not, I may ask everyone who comes calling to help unload a box or two...  I had to put one window together today before I came home.  Keep on punchin.

FROM THE SHOW

This was a GREAT SHOW for me.  My BFF Bonnie Seron added her creations, antiques, and touches to the booth.  We were weary after setting up, but it was all worth it.  Especially after all the compliments we received.  It is so rewarding when people like your work and actually purchase it!!!  There will be a spring show this year in March and I plan to be there.  Keep on punchin.

BLUE WINDS DANCERS

It was quite a weekend in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.  While The Wine & Harvest Fest was going on downtown,  The Wisconsin Quilt & fiber Art Museum was hosting The Blue Winds Dancers outside as part of the Native American exhibit inside.  I loved how the dancers told the story behind each dance before they performed it.  I've included a peek of the wonderful baskets and outfits on display.  Don't forget any of you out in the Saint Charles, Illinois area this coming weekend I'll be at The Country Folk Art Show on the Kane County Fair grounds.  As soon as the show is over, I'll be relocating my studio to the farm house on the grounds of the Wisconsin Quilt & Fiber Art Museum...  Stay tuned and keep on punchin.

SCARECROWS FOR THE HARVEST FEST

This is my BFF Bonnie Seron, antique dealer, with her creations for the Harvest Festival at THE SANDWICH ANTIQUE MART in Sandwich, Illinois this weekend.  It is one of the best shops in the Midwest, and  these gals really know how to put on a show.  So if you find yourself in the area you must stop in and see them.  It's the wine and harvest festival here in Cedarburg this weekend.  On Saturday I'll demonstrating punchneedle at my NEW studio on the grounds of the WISCONSIN QUILT AND FIBER ART MUSEUM.  On Sunday I"ll be up in my studio in THE SETTLEMENT.  I'll be totally moved over at the end of October.  It's a slow process,   I've got a lot of STUFF!  Keep on punchin.
