THE WATERMELONS HAVE IT

A new WATERMELON SEED PACKET is added to my pattern collection.   The best part of taking this photo was eating some of that delicious watermelon afterwords.  If you look close you can see Hattie roaming around in the background.  Stay tuned, there are a few more watermelon surprises to come.  Keep on punchin.

BATTS & BLOOMS

I am batty about this new shop in downtown Cedarburg called DISTRACTION!  It's a yarn boutique with lots of vintage stuff and fripperies (their word, not mine).  I can never resist a hand dyed batt, or a small skein of beaded Bee Sweet yarn!  I find any excuse to stop in and buy something!  I love these peonies, it's the first time they've had these big pink blooms.  They remind me of those flowers I used to make out of tissues when I was a little girl!  We've come a long way baby, but we still have a ways to go.  Keep on punchin.

BUTTON EYED CROWS

Buttoned eyed crows are popping up all over my studio!  These to are headed for my Etsy shop.  A few more are going to the Quilt Museum gift shop, and the rest are staying behind to keep me company or perhaps they are hoping to get a few kernels from the corn pins that are in progress.  Keep on punchin.

IT'S THE BERRIES & CHERRIES

The next big event here is Cedarburg is The Strawberry Fest on Friday and Saturday June 23rd, and 24th.  So I'm thinking Pins, Pillows, and Boxes.  I've thrown in a few cherry items for a little variety.  I'll be teaching a strawberry punch needle pin class at the Wisconsin Quilt Museum on Saturday June 16th.  To participate register at the museum.  Keep on punchin.
