MEMORIAL DAY 2011

The sun is shinning and it's the warmest day we've had in Cedarburg. A perfect day to remember what freedom is all about as we BBQ chicken and corn on the grill. Let us give thanks to our grandfathers, fathers, husbands, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters who have served our country. It's a beautiful memorial day! Keep on stitchin.

HORSING AROUND WITH DYING AND DRYING

What fun. I've been Horsing Around dying white wool with kool aid! It's not messy, it's easy, and non toxic! Now I can't wait to knit up some flapper hats. Kool aid sox are next on my list. There are several videos on UTUBE showing step by step how to dye the yarn. While waiting for the yarn to dry, I punched up Horsing Around. He is first in the Down on the Farm collection. Piggy Sue is next. Keep on stitchin! oops! Horsing Around will post later.
